Crazy duck mom
I turned on my heat light today to see if it worked and it smelled like it was burning. Is it safe? I cleaned the dust off of it, but it still seems to be smelling.

Mine always smell at first when they come out of storage... If new, maybe burning off manufacturing residues still, but if it doesn't go away before too long definitely consider it an issue.
Also... none of those food service heat lamps as those do gas off something that kills the birds. Maybe teflon?
