Show Birds?

Can I show my pigeons in my local county fair? I know that there are some breeds meant for show. Can you show any breed of pigeon? Thank you!!!

I will TAG @CCUK and @backyard pigeons , they attend pigeon shows.
They may also inform you of some of the requirement prior to showing. Things like vaccination, and proof of such. That is something that is necessary, since nobody wants to be in an area, (or their birds) with possible sick birds.

Hello there! The short answer is yes, pigeons can be shown. But I don't know if your county fair will allow it. You would likely be the only one showing pigeons. What breed are they? Is this a young bird show? Or a all age show? You most likely won't need to vaccinate them, but PLEASE treat them for simple things like mites, worms, and other diseases that are transferable. If you dont, your birds will spread it to everyone else's birds. Yes, all breeds are able to show. But they need to be pure bred.

Call the person who runs the county Fair or runs the agricultural part. They'll be able to answer all your questions.
