show breeds

there are people that make a liveing off there birds, now showing birds are not a liveing, my freinds have there eggs layers for eggs sales there breeding stock for chick sale they also raise pheasents meat chickens and turkrys geese and sell feed

Here is some advise and probably worth what you are paying for it. The bantam classes are generally larger. That means more competition and more difficult to win for a new showman. Some breeds are shown to a much greater degree (numbers wise) than others. Lots of competition means harder to win for a new showman.
Some breeds and color varieties are much more frequently champion or reserve champion of class or show. If you want to win big you may be well advised to pick the primo breed and color variety. Solid colors are in most cases less difficult to breed for quality and to groom for the show ring.
Find a mentor that you like and can work with. It will be an enjoyable and invaluable experience.
