I am sure a lot of people ask this question, but what are some good show breeds? I live in Maryland so they need to be semi-hardy, and very friendly. They will have a big coop and a big run. Some of you may suggest Barred Rock, but I have had absolutely no success in making them friendly. I am going to get about 7 girl chicks and 1 boy chick.
