The husky I was fostering ate one. I think I may have had another little roo too. He was a sweet dog but I am glad he found a new home where he will have a cute husky sister and no chickens around.

Sweet dogs like the taste of chicken too.
Huskies have an intense prey drive. Neighbor's huskies killed most of one flock of my chickens in less than 10 minutes. They would have killed them all had some not flown to high places and I caught them in the act.

Yes they can. He will be a great dog but he is definitely not cut out for being around any type of farm animal or small prey type animal. He wanted them all chickens,rabbit,turtle,pigs,cats. I enjoyed the time spent with him but he wouldn't be a dog that I would willingly adopt. He was adopted by a kid and left in a dirt floored kennel in the California heat all summer so finally after months I had been waiting I got to find him a better a home.
