What is the best fancy duck i could show in 4-h that doesnt need much room or pond to swim in?

The fanciest ducks would probably be any call duck or Black east indies....they both would like something to swim in though, even a kiddie pool

yeah i would prob buy a kiddie pool, or build a small wood pool with pond liner. I would really like a mandarin duck, any info you could give me on them?

Well I have a pair and plan to breed them in the spring, however they aren't very good for showing as they are sometimes skittish and flighty....i guess if you raise one and be around it all the time, you might be able to show him/her. I looked at your weebsite and since my fav color is purple, i think i like wood ducks more, lol. I'd like to get a pair of fancy ducks if i can find a breed i like.

you need a permite to have wood ducks , call ducks are good for 4-H all tho good show pairs cost up words of $ 50.00

Oh wow $50 for a pair. My sister told me they would cost a lot. Do you know how to get a permit?

Permits aren't that expensive but just a word of warning...it will be very hard to tame wood ducks down if you do anything but raise them from babies

ok. any way to get babies and make sure that i get 1 boy and 1 girl? i only want 1 pair so i cant hatch any my self.
