I need a spark of inspiration; my bath keeps turning to mud. It raining every day!

My dust bath is a plastic kid's sandbox with lid. Check out the flooding! Inside dust bath materials stayed completely dry despite the river running by it.

I have rain/shade tables for the birds to get under. They sometimes dust bathe under them.

Oh my gosh. That was me a few weeks ago and now I think this weekend. Something brewing in the tropics. Ughhhh

We had 2 months straight of rain, the creek next to the run couldn't take it anymore. Happened twice last winter.

Amazingly the run drained in 48 hrs. in both cases, at least enough to be usable. The lawn was waterlogged and unusable for over a week.

It was the first time it happened, and from talking to folks who'd lived here much longer, they'd never seen such a heavy amount of rain in 50 years. So thankfully it shouldn't be a regular occurrence.
