show me some cochins

im getting some cochins.. i'll be getting one black hen and either a black and white roo or a barred roo.. so i would like to see some pics of these if yall got some... and which roo do yall think whould be my best choice

just to breed. i was thinking maybe the black and white roo to go along with the black hen so i could get nearly all black chicks

Here is Molly and Henry. She is about one and he is about e months.

Here is Molly with her babies. THe black and white ones are pure black cochins, and the yellow-chipmunky one is black x buff cochin. The brown ones are partridge rock x black cochin.

Here is a better one of the black x buff baby, on the left.

This is Cassie, she is still a pullet, you can tell by her longer neck and her legs are not as feathered.

I have columbians

and here are some mottleds that are finding new homes this weekend.

"Black and white" cochins are either mottled or barred. This pattern gene when mixed with a non-patterned bird like a black will give you some blacks but mostly mixed birds. Those black birds will still throw mixes. ... so, unless you just want a pretty barnyard mix, I would choose which variety you like best.
