I'm a big proponent of being able to walk in with a human sized door, and to have an overhang over the egg door, so I don't get rained on while collecting eggs
Otherwise, I like having a boot tray under the perches to easily dispose of droppings in our compost.

I too need to be able to walk inside the coop. So much better on my back! Plus the girls enjoy the extra room. I sold the tiny TSC coop and a friend brought me a chain link dog kennel! I love it! I'll put Panels up for the winter as we get closer.
