That would rule out pretty much every dog bigger than 40 lbs or so. Pitbulls don't have any special attribute that other dogs don't have. Certainly all three of my dogs would "not be allowed in society". Personally, my solution to the problem would be different, and it would have nothing to do with dogs. I would attribute anything a dog does to the owner. If your dog bites someone and it is unwarranted, the owner would be charged with battery or assault with a deadly weapon. If the dog kills someone, you would be charged with murder. If reasonable but harsh action were taken against shitty owners, these things would be avoided to a great extent.
I think it's also important to keep in mind that the chance of a dog killing a person is tiny. Far more people are killed by bee stings, storms, car accidents, choking on a bite of hot dog, any number of diseases. We are talking about a very tiny percentage of dogs that ever bite anyone, let alone seriously injure or kill someone.
