Show me your duck coops! Update: also looking for duckling brooders

Sounds smart to me! There are a lot of people who read this board, both members and non-members, and nothing is really ever private on the internet.

Miss Lydia, I'd love to see the inside of your coop. Do you have any pictures of it?

I Had some pictures on here but deleted them but will take more when it warms up a bit.

I
had the fence thier in the nite pen cuz I had babies I was seperating at the time.. I have the nite pen all enclosed with plastic and plexiglass for winter and filled with lots of straw and tank heaters in the ponds.. Oh I added another small pond in the nite pen after I shot this video cuz my older ducks were not letting the 2 younger ducks in the big pond with them.. ugghh..

That's huge and beautiful and for such small ducks! Now I feel horrible my coop is only a Rubbermaid shed and an 8' by 11' swing set frame and half of that is already taken up by their pathetic little pond! How much did that thing cost? Not trying to be rude I just want to know to see if I can possibly afford anything as nice as that for my ducks.

THanks Alot.
well first of all this is the first Hobby Ive ever had so I did splurge alittle.. And I have NO children lol and Im almost retired..
I really didnt keep close records as Id probly scare myself AND I did have it hired done cuz the hubby is tooo busy. I was going to go to Menards for a storage shed of some kind and stopped at my lumber yard to order supplys, Long story short, the guys @ the Lumber Yard wanted to build one for me.. I do remember it was about 2500 , but its custom, is all washable glassboard inside, cupboards, heater. We get alot of snow so pens are extra heavy duty.. prbly another 5000 for EVERYTHING else (but labor) --- I did the nite pen and hut a year ago and added the outside enclosed area this summer.. I plan on alot more plants and a pond in it this summer ...

heres the inside of the Hut someone had wanted to see !!

Wow! That's a lot of money! My budget was like 200$-300$ at most! Now I'm asking my dad if for my birthday we can add another 15-20' onto the side of my coop just so it's even remotely close to yours! How many birds do you have in there?

Here is mine. It's not much but works for my ducks! We built their pen off of one of our sheds and the green thing inside is a rabbit hutch we got for free. The hutch is 6*4 inside so plenty of room, we just cut the legs off of it when we got it. The hutch extends a bit out the back because it has a small room that opens up with a latch so it will be perfect for getting eggs when they start laying.
