Does the tent help cut down their dander dust? Or I mean, does it keep it contained? Lol

Yes, I believe it did help with the amount of dust! I also had an air cleaner running 24/7 in the room and that helped a lot! I still had a bit of dust when I moved the chicks out to the coop at 5.5 weeks, but it was nothing like the horror stories I've read from others who have brooded indoors!

looks nice and cozy! If you’re still planning on getting ten they’ll probably grow out of it after a week. You might want to look into an upgrade option as well

I don't know when MamaGantz will be back to answer - but if you look closely at the pic, they appear to be zip-ties (cable ties), holding the wire mesh to the lid of the tote.
