Not sure who his mom is, but she would indeed be a Gold Laced Wyandotte.

Suspect he's a cockerel and suspect he carries both silver and gold - hence the lemony shading.

All my projects are sebright/pekin mixes.
The pekin cross was several generations back and I've not used peking again since.
So they look like sebrights (in terms of type and form) but with variable colours

Wow! Absolutely gorgeous! Is it just me or did they take on mostly Sebright characteristics? I have wanted Sebright for a while now. The cockerels/roosters worry me with hearing about so many aggressive boys. Of course I know that that is more dependent on the individual bird

I purchased Spitzhauben eggs and hatched this. I feel confident that she's mixed with something. Elvira is a very sweet bird that LOVES humans and hates her flock. I have noticed a couple of teeny tiny feather sprouts on her toes and she has one spur. She lays white eggs.
