I have one dog that does a pretty darn good job bringing the birds back

I sure do, a pure bred border collie treeing a coon. Best collie on earth, except for him being diabetic and all. He does hate birds though, but loves their feed.

heck if I sent my dog she'd just eat their food. If I sent my mom's 5lb chihuahua she would eat them... I need a retriever I guess. a hearding dog and a "I Chihuahua" don't do the job well...

I have a lab. Considering what she does to dog toys, there is no way I want her near my quail. I also have a young pup. Given what he does to a roll of toilet paper...nope. Not letting him in with any quail, either.

My current breeding pen. The fence is only about 2 feet tall, but they obey it, surprisingly. I have a water bottle hanging from the fence for them. They love the Quailigloo in the corner and they hide in there all the time.

This is one of the cages I use for single males. These pens work for anything from Quail and chickens to rabbits, ferrets, and doves. There are shelves all along the walls to set cages on.
