it's a bit large for the hobby producer but you could always scale down


At one time i had online plans for a breeder pen where the eggs rolled out on a sloped wire mesh floor 4 feet deep. I think i could make something like that that would work well for egg gathering.

is really quite amazing to me and if i ever get very big i would have to try this water system out.

Did something similar to these...mine are on the ground though...used black poly pipe and just slipped it over T-posts to make the bows.

My quail house is all built and setup in the yard. Should be able to hold 25 to 30.

I will be receiving 12 + "extras", fertile Gambel Quail eggs the 11th - 13th. I only need 7 of them. If anyone has an incubator and would like to hatch some of these beautiful birds please let me know. Otherwise the extra eggs will go to waste. I am in Las Vegas, NV so if you do not live close we would just need to arrange shipping.

why do you only need 7? Does your bator only hold 7? If you only want 7 birds, I would throw all 12+ in the bator and pray for 7 to hatch.....gambel arent the easiest to hatch, let alone being shipped...

Id be throwing together a cooler bator if the incubator only held seven

Almost finished. Today I bought the PVC to mock up the watering system. I need to throw some plywood on top but I can't fit it in my car! I'll have to get someone at Home Depot to cut it into small pieces for me. I hope to have it finished by the end of the week.
