Show me your quail pens!!!

Here's my new one... I didnt make it up, I used the suggestion from "slightly rednecked'. This is before it got painted all the way. I would change a couple things next time. There are 13 in there and it will hold up to 24, not that I would put in more than 15. The next one will be similar, but my husband can do a better one. This one had some inherent flaws, but live and learn.

Not quite finished, but I’m getting close! Just gotta put on the doors and roof, and need to figure out how to put on my no-flat tires.

Can you all add picture here for us to see. I have the supplies to make cages so I can get birds out of the house. BUT just have not done it yet.

The loft runs across the back of the cage. You can see the ramp they use to get up there. The shoe box and the loft have sand in them. You can see a bit of the nest box on the bottom right with a quail in it.

I decided to put mine on the ground after loosing some during winter last year that were on wire. this is 10' x 20'.

I use a 5 gallon bucket and water cup.

Funny how they will lay all over the pen.

Have you given them nest boxes? Looks kinda barren in there. Might be good for them to have hiding places and branches to crawl over and under.
