Well after reading 60+ posts and what appears once more bashing of heads (do y'all really wanna meet up? If so please don't bring peacemakers *facepalm* )

I know very well the danger of games and how aggressive they can easily be, I have raised chickens, and by chickens I am not meaning silkies either (I have raised a total of 6 of those predator baits in over 6 years with only one surviving) I have dabbled within duel purpose, bantams, and Malay mixes. In fact I still have a MalayXKK hen that is four years old. I have seen how brutal only slightly gamey birds can be, and I am rather observent of my birds because in the end if I don't know my own fowl why should I even bother to be in poultry or livestock in general?

I study and read while asking what I would call "master breeders" their opinions and ways, I try to sift through in fighting and male head butting to learn. I prefer blunt manner, in fact I can be quite as blunt if need be within my line of livestock showing and judging with dairy goats. I managed to PO a breeder because one of his buyers ask me my personal opinion of a buck which I though should be only as a pet or dinner. Period. So trust me when I say the rough and tuff manner here is something I am use to.

I am thankful for that, too many people coddle folks who then end up doing stupid things which could easily end up with dead birds or animals.

I do plan on owning games, be it American game LF or American game bantams, it is my dream but I am not gonna be a idiot and jump head first and be a stupid idiot. I may just of become a adult but I am proud to say I am not like many of my peers of my generation. Because of that I wan to prepare and build pens, have a main source of income to pay for my passion and to preserve this breed that will die out if people don't get into them.

That being said like stated by each one of you things can go to he** in a heart beat, that why as am stated before I ask and toss ideas out, better to do that then end up with WW3 in my back yard.

Sure your not thinking of a sharp shinned hawk? They are much smaller.

I think we have both, and the red tail. I definitely know sharp skinned, they are brave and small.

I think the redtails stay away. And the both the cooper's and the sharp skinned get the chicks sometimes. But I'm not am expert identifying them.

They are tough to identify since the juveniles of some look like adults of others. Many times u only get a glimpse. Those are red tails or larger hawks. I have a ton of red tails around here. They rarely cause a problem. It's usually the coopers. The red tails can't zoom through the trees like a Cooper's hawk either.

Thanks miss heny. Great post.

I'm cracking up that an 18year old is 1000x more mature than us grown men at the moment.
you can thank my father a marine for that trait :p

Also every youth function I am at I spend many a hour plotting to strangles my peers because of their child like behavior :caf which is ironic since I am on the state leadership team with the exact people I want to remove from our gene pool.

But it looks awesome on scholarship applications. :he
