I am starting to wonder if australorp is a rooster. It is hard to tell with your own chicks. Please tell me it is a pullet. She is getting red in the face.

It is getting red in the face I hope its not a roo. If it is I will still keep it.

I think we all worry a bit that we have more males then we can keep. Where I am one is one to many. I miss having a roo in the flock.

Legally we CAN have them BUT the nuisance rule would come into play. Some of my neighbors call the cops if a dog barks in the middle of the day.

That was how are neighbors were where we used to live. Luckily we moved and everyone is more nice around here.
