Around maybe 6 months, because then they will be close to adult size. Banding isn't easy on feather-legged birds though, and it can damage their feathers @Pekin lover x

I was in the middle of posting some pics when I got to leave early from work lol!! So here they are! Love my floofy booty banty!

This is PJ's and she has always been my favorite, but after her leg got broken, she has really become the love of my life lol she is a huge pet now and knows where her bread is buttered!!

After she recovered a little better from her broken leg, I could tell that she was desperately trying to find a higher place to roost than in her box on the floor, so I made her a little area next to my tv/comp monitor on the computer table lol. She loved it!



She is just so cute I love her to death

I hope this isnt violating any rules lol, my kid never wants to wear clothes, sorry! but i couldnt pass up the photo op.

This is the rest of PJ's gang, I feel bad for her because she doesnt get to live in the big pen with everyone else anymore, but I'm pretty sure her life now is as great as any chicken could hope for. She has a bunny and a chicken friend to keep her company too.

Awww @MESOFRUFFEH I have rabbits too. I wouldn't think the pic of your kid would violate anything because all you can see is the side of his hip in the "violatable area".
