~Show Off Your Bantams~!

Pics
I'm thinking of switching to all bantams. My large ladies are tearing up my gardens. I have 4 bantams right now and they can't do 1/2 the damage. I also have 2 tractor supply silkies, their huge compare to real bantams. They're bigger than my leghorn hens.
Hope my silkie doesn't get too huge like that! We had large meat birds for awhile when I was young, never cared for them or their personalities. It's been nothing but banties for me since I started, love these tiny boogers.

The bantams are 7months old and the silkies are 4 months old.
These looks like silkie mixes. May explain why they are so much bigger than your bantams... Silkies should have pea combs instead of single comb (Which is what your silkies look like they have)

You're right! They do have a single comb. Now I feel cheated by TSC. They get their chicks from Hoover Hatchery. UGH! I didn't know silkies have peacombs . These are my first silkies. Oh well, live and learn. They're pretty calm birds, but too big to be a bantam.
