Have you ever looked into Seramas? There just about as big as quails just a bit bigger i think, Very friendly and beautiful birds.. been thinking about getting some. They seem so popular right now

Actually, there was a post on why you shouldn't raise chickens with quails. I thought i could get a couple of small bantams and house with quails, letting the bantams free range in day time but it seems they can share diseases...

Thanks! Though I'm hoping they grow into a less mottled look. I have four or five more coming in twelve days now... (I was gathering eggs until I realised that Mummy was setting. I rescued all the eggs of hers I could and put them under her, but most of them were in the fridge.)

Wow thats a lil' young for a rooster trying to get with the hens already! I would of never guessed it was a roo! Guess i should start paying more attention to OEGs

I luv them all! I will be getting some banties very soon! Just got off the phone with a local breeder. I'm not sure when but i'm getting 4 Seramas and 4 surprise bantams.. All hens Very excited to get them!

Theres nothing like sharing some corn with your chickens! We've got a couple rows of corn growin' for the ladies (And Roos) And a couple for us as well

I'm thinking of switching to all bantams. My large ladies are tearing up my gardens. I have 4 bantams right now and they can't do 1/2 the damage. I also have 2 tractor supply silkies, their huge compare to real bantams. They're bigger than my leghorn hens.
