You're right! They do have a single comb. Now I feel cheated by TSC. They get their chicks from Hoover Hatchery. UGH! I didn't know silkies have peacombs . These are my first silkies. Oh well, live and learn. They're pretty calm birds, but too big to be a bantam.

They looked off to me.. All well just so long as they do their job!

I never buy chicks from TSC... Bought 11 'pullets' from them... only got two pullets out of eleven... Never again..

Oh how cute! well, except for the eye pecking and all..

I'm pretty sure that chicken math is contagious.. our simple trade of 8 birds.. 4 banties and 4 seramas turned into 14 Seramas and 14 bantams... 28 birds... I wouldnt be surprised if i had over 100 birds before 2018.

I'm "guessing" I have a few Japanese and a few OEGB and a few poofy heads that might be polish. They are an assortment of mystery bantams.
