Show off your birds!!!

Okay, so I have had a hawk for a couple years now but I totally forgot about him before I got chickens since we had not seen her...
Now, yesterday after I let my hens out when I was sitting on the picnic table watching them since they were all acting weird and flying around... BAMMMMM!!!!!! I she a hawk swoop down and attempt to steal my bird (attempt as in I scared it away screaming...) :barnieAnyways, I do not want my first chicken to pass from a predator when she didn't have too...:bow
P.S They are all still alive and I watch over them every time I let them out!:yesss:

Had a hawk last fall that kept scoping out my flock for weeks... I guess while i was in the barn it decided to attack. I heard all of my birds freaking out so i ran into the coop to see all of my chickens in there except for two rooster, A silver laced wyandotte named Obama and an EE named Terrance. Saw em' outside beating up wha I thought was another chicken so i ran out and kicked em' away. Turned out it was a hawk they managed to pin down. Hawk flew away and never came back. I'm still shocked that the roos managed to pinned the thing down!

I now keep fake crows along the fence. That helps keep the hawks away.
