Anyways, when it was time to bring my chickens in I couldn't find the two after a half hour I was able to find the first chicken! She wasn't the friendliest bird so she ran... I caught her and put her away. I found the other chicken two minutes later I picked her up... Charlotte made this and had laid a egg in it!I was actually originally going to get Barred Rocks instead of Wyandottes but the Wyandottes were less expensive...Here goes two (of five) of my Barred Rocks, both 20 weeks.

) the BRs were the cheapest while the Wyandottes were twice as much. Can you believe they wanted $6 per Wyandotte?! Regardless my plan was always to get BRs. That sad, I feel the chicken math coming on; but I'll have to wait until next spring. I'd like to get a bit of a mix next time.Oh how cute! I loved doing that to my SLW roo! Such a sweet calm thing he was.. I'd always take pics of him as well
Very cute! I'm leaning towards cockerel but its far to early to try and guess... Could possibly be a hen..Thid cochin is 16 weeks old anyone know what gender!
