I’ve had to rehome 3 accidental cockerels because of my neighborsLike your style! Same reason I can't have a rooster. Legally I can but it would be about a day before someone complains about crowing. So to keep the peace I'm roosterless. :-(

OK. I see there mine are darker. So what is gold laced? Is that a generalisation?No, the picture you showed is straight partridge. They are black where a blue is, well, blue. This is Brandy, my best partridge hen, as opposed to blue partridge. View attachment 1251573
