What I can and have done is once I get permission to get one I’ll try to get as many as I can when I pick up just the one chicken

Like your style! Same reason I can't have a rooster. Legally I can but it would be about a day before someone complains about crowing. So to keep the peace I'm roosterless. :-(

I’ve had to rehome 3 accidental cockerels because of my neighbors I love the cockerels and roosters! I can’t wait until I have my own property and then I’m going to have a ton of chickens!

I wish I had hens before I bought this place. I would have looked for a bit more land. I want goats aswell. There so funny. We had goats when is was a kid and used to milk them. You could taste what they had been eating. Elderberry milk. Lovely!!

Someone I use to work with had a couple on his allotment and they used to escape all the time. He was forever going home to put them back. Really funny!

Would you say mine are blue partridge?

No, the picture you showed is straight partridge. They are black where a blue is, well, blue. This is Brandy, my best partridge hen, as opposed to blue partridge.

Thank you~ Philip is doing well. He just hate's it when you try and catch him but it's pretty easy.. No, no light brahmas yet unfortunately I'm going to a poultry meeting on Friday so i'll ask around there.. If not i'll just have to wait for the Flock & Swap.
Also forgot about my buffs' I've got three but I don't think I have a pic of the third one.

OK. I see there mine are darker. So what is gold laced? Is that a generalisation?
