Show Off Your Brahmas!

I just sold 16 Buff and Light Brahmas, and I'm incubating some Blue/gold partridge brahmas. I don't have the pictures on this computer, but will post the birds I kept. I'm planning on keeping a Partridge roo if I get one, and a hen.

According to the interwebz, Brahmas come in light, buff and dark, blah blah blah, but I've seen all sorts of interesting Brahmas here at BYC. What other nifty colors are there? I'm liking the Partridges, and did I see someone with something like a red splash (white base with red wings, etc.)?

I love the partridge! But then again I love the dark, light and buff, lol. I have a light Pullet named Rooroo since I was hoping and thinking she was a roo. No, no light roos in that batch.

She is a darling. She helped nurse a chick with splayed leg, bringing him food and supporting him to the water. She is a darling! The other chick didn't make it, sadly, so I put what I thought was a light roo in with her. Now they are besties. They are in a pen with 2 dark brahma pullets, and they are let out to mingle with the flock. My dark hen is taking them all under her wing, lol.

I am too @WickedChicksNH! I'm getting 10 light brahmas, 6 Welsummers and 6 EEs. I just can't wait! I have a hen that goes broody in late summer, so I was hoping she could hatch some for me. She is an excellent broody. My other broody just hatched 6/6 shipped eggs. She is also an excellent broody.
