Show off your chicken names!!!

I started off with 30 or so chickens a few years ago, they've mostly died off, but the ones I have left are
Gur (means lion) - golden polish roo
Duncan - silkie roo (he's goofy)
Bumper - mutt roo hatched from he neighbor's chickens
Spike - blue Cochin roo
Spinner - black frizzle bantam too
Spade-bit - speckled sussex hen
Oprah - Ancona hen
Griffin - silver spangled hamburg hen
Pearl - EE hen

My 3 1/2 week old pullets are
Mo, Tiny, Chunky, Ginger, Goblin, Bumble and Bee - EE's
Gretchen and Deedee - Light brahmas

And I've had 22 ducks, most with names, but I only have one left and will be getting 8 more in a week.
Tobey - Saxony drake
Doc, Bella, Chewy, Charlotte, Thumper, Edward, A.D.D (he had a spiral on his head when he was a baby), and Jeffrey is all I can think of were Ancona ducks and drakes.
Chuck Norris, Donald, and Godzilla were all indian runners.

The new ones will all be females
Daisy and Angel - welsh harlequin
Mark Twain and Albert Einstein - white crested
I forget what the four runner's names will be.
And my tufted buff gander will be Max, my goose doesn't have a name yet. I'm open to suggestions.

Assuming they're all pullets...

The two Buff Orpingtons are Butterscotch and Toffee

The two red sex-link are Ruby and Garnet

The two Delaware are Moon and Star

The Barred Rock is undecided, but I'm leaning toward Pepper

The two Salmon Faverolles are Hyzenthlay and possibly Hazel (Only had Hazel a day so not for sure there)

The California White, I wanted to call her Broomhilda, but not sure it will stick.

The Easter Egger, started out as Feistybutt, but she's calmed down now. My almost four year old calls her Stripe-er as in "mama I wanna pet the stripe-y one she needs love" I am also considering Whiskey or maybe Bunny.

Oh and some other chicken names of past chickens are

Tweezer, skeeter, peanut, weenie, Baum, blue, Ozzie, Eddie, bushad, kyros, tank, twiggy, Nelson, boogie, Pickett, red, spot, Sid, iggy, dmitri, fysh. That's all I can think of right now.

My current adult birds are:
Nuru (rooster), Cyclone Aggie (hen), Tank Girl (hen), Grisaille (hen)

My chicks:
Eglantine Chook, Primula Brandycluck, Dromaius, Eudyptes.

If you get the pun/reference in the first two, kudos.

Past chickens included: Timmy, Skoggi, Krelli, Alejandro, Rosa, and... ok, blanking on a few. Oops?

2. Lady (Lindo's "wife")

(My sister's chicken)

3. Meat-Loaf (Haha he was the other rooster who did not grow up nice... So.. Well.... Chicken soup was all that was left)
hmm.png
(my oldest sisters chicken)

4. Shorter (My dad's chicken, which, as you can tell, was named by him)

5. Roseleta (Who soon became Rose-oleet-O) Later in life he started crowing like a dying duck! (My mom's chicken)

6. Pecky (Who did not peck, and was actually the nicest out of all of them) Probably from all the socialization given by my baby Brother (my Baby brothers chicken)

And thats it..

We have 6 chicks. Not all have names yet, but the one that looks to possibly be a white cochin bantam is Pearl. One of the partridge wyandotte looking ones is named Vetiver, the other; Egypt. One I cannot be sure of breed, but has Got to be a rooster ,

is SOOOO loud! For now we call it Megaphone. That one is the town (or corral in this case) crier. If it cries out and I don't just about run to its peck n' call, we all pay for it.

The other closer to cream-colored may end up being Clementine. Anyway... That's what we've got so far. LOVE my babies!
