Show off your chickens~

Its a grib piece roost lol. I have twenty chickens. Plus two babies plus babies on the way. Four wyandotte bantams and a few of some of the breeds still figuring out the breeds

Here are the picture of my girls.. One 7 week old Barrel Rock, 2 seven week old Buff Orpingtons, 2 five week old Easter Eggers and 1 Five week old Lavender Orpington. Now about the lavender Orpington, I am starting to believe he might grow up to be a rooster. Rooster are now allowed in my city so I am praying that I am wrong....What do you think???

They are beautiful love the lavender very pretty. What type of comb is he or she suppose to have. And I see no wattles. Cause from the roosters I raised. They developed combs and wattles at just about amonthish my little roo is about a month or less or so hatched by my first broody.

I'm still new with telling the difference. But normally you can tell at a young age. There's a chance he's a she. But if you put a ring tied to a string or necklace with a ring place over the birdie if it circles I think a girl if side to side I think a boy. It worked on my silkie boys and hopfully my ducklings

Wow, that is extremely interesting, I will definitely try it tomorrow morning. If it works that would have to be the most gentle way of telling if its a boy or a girl!! :)
