You all have beautiful trees.I tried to duplicate the tree we had when I was growing up. Thats been a long time ago(the 50's)I'm pushing 60...Anywho, I bought those big,multi-colored lights and used tinsel.Now I remember why I haven't put tinsel on the tree for all these years.It's stuck to my clothes,socks,hair,furniture,husband.I could go on and on...But who'd want to hear me ... Christmas time sure brings back fond memories.I remember the time our dog ate decorations off the tree. He pooed out a tapeworm wrapped in tinsel.Those were the good times....

Gosh, everybodys trees are so beautiful. It makes me miss having mine. Of course that was before I had these monster baby dogs to tear it down.

I always used too put up a gawdy tree but it was always beautiful. Keep them coming.

Now who is going to start an outside decoration thread?

My tree is pretty awful. LOL It's lacking beautiful ornaments, since my boys loveeee to break glass bulbs and such. Ugh. It's been up since the day after Thanksgiving and they've already broken 5 ornaments.

It's only 6ish foot or something, so I stick it on a box every year. I'm cheap like that.

Lit up - Only half the strand is working, but DH likes less lights, so I'm not screwing with it again.
