I use a stock tank as well. I like to use the collapsable screens to cover the top- it makes it easy to adjust to any size container, and you can make room for a lamp as well.

Yesterday was the first day free-ranging for my blue-tailed del projects, and it had just snowed. They'd been moved to the cochin house like most of my juveniles do, and locked in for a week to get their bearings. I like that this breed is so outgoing and able to adapt to whatever situation they're put into.

Rachel, we signed up some Bantam Del owners at Crossroads this year - they should be on the breeders list on the club site. Stacy still has her bantam Dels also - don't know if this helps, but I do know one of the new members said she would ship eggs when I asked her.
Offhand I cannot remember her name, but she is in Minnesota, and her bantams were the big winners at Crossroads - there were at least two or three people there with Bantam Dels.
