Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

Kathyinmo,we are only days apart, and I was thinking end of March, early April, so we can have a little race to see who is first!
You all know what you are doing to me with all this talk about eggs and bators and hatches, don't you?
I swore I would not go that route!!!!Agh!!!!

I counted again tonight, I think I have 8 girls. It's still up in the air with Ultrasuede- most of them have very little in the way of markings, one has heavy markings. They all look very full breasted right now, sort of like fat doves.

Can the roos all go live together apart from the ladies in a few months until I make some decisions? Will they be peaceable as bachelors together?

I just want my mother {who is in town right now} to hurry up and load those pics. I want to show you all how growen up they are getting. I think she said she needs to do it tomorrow, cuz someone what rodeo pocs on a cd or something, so mayba just maybe tomorrow or sunday, cuz I'll be at a rodeo all day saturday

Cynthia, good, I would prefer to leave them all together as long as possible. There are so many possible ways to go with all this - I wouldn't mind having more than one roo, but don't want to deal with a lot of fighting until I can choose. So far I seem to have one that likes to jump on everyone else. And he has this BIG smug smile on his little face when he does it. Brat.

Crazy Lady- we want to see, too, but hope you enjoy the rodeo and sell LOTS of pretties.

Laney, I use paper towels the first week. That's what works best for me.

It's Thursday .... Cyn will be up late. Survivor is on! AND .... the winner is .... err, I mean, the loser is .....

Who will get voted out tonight?

I'm still at work. I tape it, and watch it when I get home!

So I was investigating the farm these eggs I bought come from and who's email do I see on their blog? Our very own Ladyhawk! She wrote to them this past September while she was doing research for the BYC Java page!

What a small world we have!

So, Laney, you are incubating the Java eggs? When are they due? Oh, it is so addicting! I love incubating!

Yes, I would lay down thick cardboard first. I go mine from the furniture store. There should be alot of it there ... this time of year, for sure! The first few days I use paper towels, and then move to the shavings. I dunno ... that works for me.

Currently, I have 4 little males 14 weeks old....3 EEs in one coop and Thor in the other. But, they all go outside in the garden together when the weather is good. Very little sparring takes place. They were all together until about 3 - 4 weeks ago.

Ok you bunch of VCDLs....I am leaving with the boys (don't tell, I took them out of school....since they both finished the semester with all A's) to go to the hunting club.

NO unnecessary picking while I'm gone as I won't be here to defend myself (maybe I need to call JamesA to look in on y'all for me)

Have a great weekend....be back at ya Monday
