No one is ever able to find this place, even if I give them a map and directions. hehehe. I could send her back to you in a year or two, once the danger is over.

Oh, the DH made the coffee STRONG this morning!

Well, I will pick that little coop up Saturday- thanks for the thumbs up on it, guys!

Cyn, how is our dear Ivy this morning?

I haven't seen Ivy this morning. DH said she responds to him talking to her, but wouldn't open her eyes. After my coffee infusion, I'll go check on her myself. I had him remove Lexie from her late last night. I was thinking of poor Lexie if her sister had a seizure and died and Lex was stuck in the cage with her dead sister the rest of the night. We can put her back this morning. I check on her every hour. If I see that she's unresponsive, we can decide about helping her along.

Put Lexie back with Ivy, who seems to be breathing more shallowly, but she is hearing things and opened her eyes when I spoke to her. Lex walked to the back and leaned down to look at her sister then stood over her and dozed.

It's going to be a bittersweet day. Tiny is in a nest, throwing straw over her back, with Isaac standing in front of the nest, talking to her, like a labor coach. He's the best boy. So later today, maybe Tiny will lay a tiny egg as Ivy is passing on to the Great Roost in the Sky.

That Ike is such a good boy. Cyn, I hope today is the day, it is time. Maybe go out there and get her, walk her around to see everything and tell her it is okay to go. Poor sweet girl.

Ike is a dear- I love those traits in Luke that Isaac has passed to him- so sweet!
Tell Ivy we love her, too. Did you ever read the poem about death and the sailing ship? It works for flying, too. As we say "there she goes", there are souls on the other side watching, ready to say "here she comes". She will be welcomed, joyfully.
