Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

I went to get 3 Delawares, one of the three doesn't look like a Delaware. I think it is 6 weeks old.
Is this a Delaware?

Got a picture of one of my Delaware pullets today. She flew up atop her coop, and then up on top of the 8 ft breeder barn..... and then, out to free range!

It was NOT her turn yet! So, I asked her to pose pretty, and she wouldn't even do that. So, here she is....

Knaup- I do think that is a Del, just a lightly marked one- give her some time to develop those tail feathers, it can take a molt or two before they really come into their own. She is very young, so stay hopeful. If she keeps growing into a nice plump, chunky girl, you can breed for better markings.

Kathy, that girl has LOVELY markings- and looks like she has a nice body and wing set- I hate that the comb is a bit floppy- is that hard to breed out? That is an area in which I do not have a lot of knowledge. I have a really nice hen with that little turn in front also.
And she sure is telling you a thing or two about whether it's her turn!!!

If Isaac's nice comb overrode Kira's weird, oddly serrated one to produce Gracie, with a nice 5 pointer, I'd think the comb is not that hard to breed out if you used a great rooster. I wouldn't hesitate to use that girl, Kathy. She is chunky with nice tail black, good hackles and great wing carriage.

This is my plan. I have a 4 day weekend, and we are culling and arranging for winter. I currently have all my Delawares penned together, but am gonna make a second pen. I am going to pen Oliver with 3 or 4 of my biggest, bowl shaped girls, and see what they produce. If I get the shape I want from them, then I will begin looking at the other traits.
