Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

OH! OH! OH! My DH said I could get the SOP for an early Christmas present!!! I'll share info!!! WOOHOO!

This may be a dumb question, but there are several related Del flocks -Isaac and Algernon and their ladies and babies and someone on the incubation topics that hatched Isaac babies yesterday- where will you look for new blood if you wanted to add to your flocks instead of remaining closed?

I know we have the BYC breeders pages that houndit is working on, but last I looked there are not many Del people listed. I would also love to have a list of Del breeders who are NOT on BYC, if that is a legit thing to do. I joined the Delaware club, but so far have not gotten any info on breeders or anything. I can't find much on their website, although its possible that is just due to my computer ignorance.

My girls are just hatchery birds, but I still love their look! I have been contemplating getting some show quality stock and delawares are one breed I would definitely be interested in.

Errr, ummm, excuse me ??? Did you say your "next hatch???" But, I thought you were gonna wait til spring. LOL Ha, I knew you couldn't wait. You got that hatchin' bug again?

Beautiful breed, for sure!
Oh, about the eggs >>> those are not ordinary large eggs, Oh, no, those are X-large eggs. The ones you sent to me, well a couple are so big that I had to be sure not to place them where the thermometer sat on top of the eggs ... it wouldn't fit!
I'm actually anxious to EAT Delaware eggs!

Potterwatch, yet another thing we have in common! It's like your my west coast sister!

Speckledhen, no fair teasing me with those beautiful eggs. I don't know if it makes me want to eat them or hatch them..... ok maybe half and half? No, hatch 3/4 and eat 1/4? OK hatch them all and wait for the eggs!
