Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

No, not only sun. Too much corn will turn a white bird yellow. It can be genetics in some cases, too.

Hey, there are three BBS Orps in there, too, right Kathy? I see Smoky's characteristic long egg, always clunks in the turner, LOL.

Most males have more shoulder smut than pullets do, and it travels down the back, between the shoulder blades, but in a small percentage, they can fool you and you would have a not so well marked male or an excessively marked female.

Oh yes, I should have mentioned that! Correct, Smoky's egg certainly clunks! I can hardly wait to have updated pictures for this thread!

Let's get back on topic.

This is a thread about chickens turned into an argument about dogs????

Anyone should feel free to go back and edit their posts before I do.

I LOVE pictures!!!
That's a bum deal about the corn yellowing, by the way.

Thanks everyone, I know I know. They are quality to me. But, I'm waiting for my young suitors comb to form, I'm a little worried about it. But, all in good time. Oreo is Heffners son, and oh man can I tell. Haha. I wish I would have noticed that I did two different picture sizes. >.<

Biomistake, they probably will be. And thanks rustyswoman.

Yes! I hope we see more pics!

**Folks, you have been asked to stop debating. The title of this thread is "Show off your Delawares", not let's argue about the breed's standards. Enough already!
