Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

Joletabey - We are moving to Kentucky. So 4 - 8 hours from speckledhen ... she said I cannot live any closer than that because she does not want to have to throw me out of Suede's coop every day.

If I remember correctly, I am about 5 hours from Lexington? If that is within any kind of driving distance, I could bring Ultrasuede for a visit!

AND. . . . . .DON'T LAUGH!!!!!!! This is a quick sketch with only 1 cup of coffee. It needs a slogan- not necessarily the ones suggested in the picture. Does this get us started?

Cynthia, I just have to say that your Dels are pigs in disguise!

I can't keep enough feed in there to keep them happy! I am hoping that it is a sign of how big they are going to get.

I want to give them all some Poly-visol but don't know how much to give. What is the dosage and do I give each chick it's own or put it in the water?

Are you really moving to Kentucky Cetawin?

Thanks!

Its Great!!!! I love the Delaware symbolism in it, since its for Delwares. Hmm... A slogan... Ike Rules, I love that!! But, whats something that would represent us all. The COD, haha!

Cynthia, if you dont mind me asking, what is AviaCharge 2000?

And no disrespect meant on the piggy part. I am glad that they have healthy appetitites. It is when a chicken doesn't eat I worry.

There is nothing wrong with the babies, I just thought a dose of vitamins would benefit them. Should I not give them any?

You don't really need to give them the vitamins unless there is a special reason to do so. Their starter has vitamins added to it already, I believe. Iron is one of those things that they should not overdose on. It has a cumulative effect, if I'm not mistaken. That's why folks that use the Red Cell supplement made for horses with their birds must be careful not to give too much or too often since it is iron-rich.

AviaCharge 2000 is a powdered vitamin/mineral/amino acid supplement especially for birds. You add to water on occasion. I use only the 1 gallon waterers since it turns the water a dark brown, like strong tea color, and stains the container a bit. You are supposed to only give it for I believe 48 hours, then remove it. I do it occasionally for my birds. It's quite expensive, though goes a very long way, and you can only order it online.
