Howdy Y'all!!!

As you all know, I have been trying to get decent pictures of my chicks and at this point, they are so active that it is next to impossible. Anyway, I had an idea today to move each chick to a more controlled area and take pics that way. It **kind of** worked....

In honor of Cyn's hens moving plans, here are some pictures of (Cyn's) Ike & Kira baby.......

Cyn, here's the direct like that I ordered the hydrometer from, http://doublekpoultry.webs.com/apps/webstore/products/show/1252892, I did give the people at cutlersupply.com (where I ordered the incubator from) and they told me it had been preset to 99.9 degrees F. I asked if there was a way I could contact the manufacturer directly and they happily gave me their number. Nice people at cutlersupply.com

Cetawin, the red plug is in the top of the incubator, I didn't pull anything out or mess/adjust with it. Just set it up and plugged it in. I dunno what that red plug is even for... heh heh.

Scott, that makes me feel a lot better! I'm hoping this incubation experience is as fool proof and goes as smoothly as possible. I chose this incubator because I heard it was one of the easiest to handle.

Less than a week away until I get my eggs! Ah! So Excited!

Hmm, that one is one I got at Walmart years ago, Jeremy. It is actually my least accurate, always says 20% humidity no matter what, but I think it varies by unit. I only use that one in the brooder when I need a general idea of the temp.

Countrychickengirl- Norbit is the King of stink eye in those first two pictures! That first one ought to be picture of the week- I know it's probably too young to tell- but it looks like he will have a nice comb and barring- none of the columbian markings so far- can't wait to see the rest of your pictures.
