Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

If your there I need an answer. I have a bantam egg hatching right now and it's only day 19. I thought they took 21 and that they would be late cuz the temp was so low on many days. I have 22 other eggs in the incu. 2 bantam and 20 standard. What do I do? If it hatches and the others aren't due til thur. or fri.

If it is hatching, it will be fine in the bator. Is it just a pip, or is it hatching? It can be 24 hours or longer between pip and hatch. If it is the only one, and is hatched, dry and fluffy ..... and you have no other pips, you could quickly remove it to the brooder. It is best to not open the bator if you have other pips. I leave mine in for up to 24 hours.

Do you have any more pips in there? Maybe they will all join you early. In my recent hatch I had one BR hatch a full 24 hours before any of the others even pipped. I just waited til he was dry and fluffy and I did pull him out of the bator into the brooder.

No more pips. Should I wait til the morning? Usually my hatches are late. Do bantams hatch early? The only other bantam hatches I've had are broody hatches. There are two other bantam eggs but one I'm doubtful about. The rest are standards.
