High thank you...I was already of aware of the Hughes Net penalty for bandwidth usage which is why I upgraded my package however they are going to get barked at tomorrow in most likely three languages...4 if they really hack me off. Everytime I try to open a second window (like the uploads here) my computer slows down and will even freeze...then I get a little hughes net pop up about upgrading....soooooooo someone will get it on the phone tomorrow or I take Cannonball down to the local office and let her loose on someone (after I spray them with raspberry or grape jelly)

That will learn them to mess with my Delaware thread fix.

Sooooooooo Scott, you are gonna be a Daddy huh? How nice of psycho-witch

How do you all with more than 2 Dellies do it? Watching my two outside on range is like watching two toodlers, each in their own room getting into stuff. My gosh Fattie and Cannonball can find every piece of paper, twist tie, broken glass and anything else they should not have. I spent over an hour yelling "No Cannonball" "No Fattie" and then Cheyenne came home from school and I was yelling "Cheyenne go get that ???? right beside Fattie before she sees it"

Those two exhaust me. Some pics of the heathens taken from the second floor deck while Cheyenne was at ground level controlling them:

As most of you know I have the neighbor to my right with free ranging chickens who choose to range in my pasture and yard well to the left I have horses being kept on leased fields with get this...no gate....two of whom jump the cattle guard, wander over to munch up my yard and then bring the rest of the herd with them. What is up with people not watching their animals or giving a crap? I have decided that a few more times of them in my yard and me not being able to catch the guy coming out here to visit them but failing to FEED them, I am calling animal control. Not the horses' faults.

By the way...to the right of the posts and fence on the left of the picture is where my new coop is hopefully going...the fencing will be torn down and runs built to replace that garden area.

Must be a sprinkle in the air, as I just took a half hour uploading one single picture!

It is so much easier to use the computer at work, but I can't upload there.

Fattie and Cannonball must be lovin' the country life by now.

I love the pictures! Awwww, they look like they really are, "at home!"
That really is a most beautiful place you got there! But the neighborhood, hmmmm???

Do all the country folk there just let the animals run free and take care of themselves, or what? Are the chickens still coming over to your place, for heaven's sake?

Morning all....

Well Kathy, my hatch went GREAT. I hatched 15 of 15 SHIPPED eggs!!! and 12 of the 14 Col Rocks that were set on day 18. Not too bad. Trouble right now is that the CRs look just like the BO babies and Karen (Lockedhearts) is picking up the BOs on Sunday....oh well.

I locked down 57 eggs for her yesterday. Started with 60 something.....I should have all kinds of babies here in a day or two

I have "adopted" Tom Wheeler from the Plymouth Rock Fanciers club to help "mentor" me with how to properly raise and breed the rocks to APA standards. Apparently, most rocks today are much too small and not of proper type. He is gonna "learn me" the way to do it. He shipped me 40 eggs yesterday (white rocks and barred rocks) from SQ lines. Will be interesting to see this play out.

Ladyhawk, all "unnecessary animal nonsense you are experiencing aside", your place looks beautiful!!! I hope you are enjoying it as much as your chooks seem to be. It is soooo pretty and green. As for being "da baby daddy", psycho - winch is still roosting and running around like normal. No nesting just yet, but BOY is she one cranky woman!! I might just slip her one of my MIL estrogen pills.....

All is good here, just cold this AM. 41deg but sun is coming out so I'm looking for a beautiful day.

Y'all be good.....

Good morning everyone! And good luck with all your hatches! Pictures are needed ASAP!!!

Scott, that is great you found a mentor- always a good thing!

Cetawin, nothing loose, dangly, sparkling or red goes in the run with me, or I get Dellie mouthed to death. If I take in a bag of pine shavings, I have to keep scooping Luke off it, as he likes to get on it and peck and scratch the red color. I am sorry your neighbor's animals are still running amok- some people don't understand there are property lines -

Kathy- did you scrub out that last 'bator and pack it up yet?

Firearia- you don't know what you are missing. Get a Dellie and become an instant fan!!!
