I think I got a good picture today, to show the comb thing ..... The one in front, her comb (though not perfect) follows the curve of her head. The one in the back, the comb goes up instead of following the curve of the head. Am I correct?

I meant to post this picture. This is from today.... Oliver. I can not post Jacob. Poor guy is molting, and it would embarrass him. Jacob is by far the sweetest roo ever though. Oliver is wonderful, but not as touchy and huggy as Jacob is..... though he is getting better at it.

That is a trait (friendliness) that I feel is important in the Delawares, as well.

Man it is such a bummer I have to wait till spring to get more eggs. I wish I could start on them now, I am so excited to get them started.

Yeah, everyone thinks it's sunny all the time here

for the last 3 days it has been overcast and rainy.
I would hatch some out, but I would be to afraid of growing them up smaller then they would be in the spring.

I know spring is not too far away, but I have the itch now. Im sure you know how it is. Patients is a virtue, right?
