Just posting a couple more photos of my friendliest Delaware pullet. I have jokingly named her "hambone" don't know if it fits, but it sure has stuck to her.

This was her next move.

I'm positive you got a lovely little pullet there. That's how some of my pullets grew out, and I even tried to sell one as a cockerel. But hey, good news to nobody wanting my roosters... I found out two of them were pullets!!

Delgirl, long time no hear!!! How ARE you? Have you gone to the Delaware club site to find breeders?
www.delawarepoultryclub.org. I think Lori Davis is in OK, and Kathyinmo and some others are in MO.
I know I am farther away, but if worse comes to worse, I might could help you out.

Pinkchick, you are getting the stink eye in a major way in that first picture - how did she get "Hambone" for a name?

Hey joletabey! I'm doing pretty good, if my pay checks would add more hours lol. I did register on the Delaware club and I'll b contacting Lori very soon lol. I did think about ordering eggs from Kathy if she will let me

My girls are finally coming out of molt. I am getting about 6 eggs a day. I downsized alot, since I am working on my project pen. I am hatching most of the Delaware eggs. I have one girl that continues to lay a torpedo egg, and I am not hatching those. I like the extra large eggs, and those are the ones I am hatching.

Pink, I sure hope that pullet develops a better beak than that dark tinged one. I had a couple pullets like that, and they did yellow up. I can see where you were confused as to the sex of that one, too. Did you ever hear the story of the 2 roosters returned to me? Yeah, well ... one ended up being a pullet!

Thank you everyone for your advise and opinions. I should have mentioned that the last photos I posted are not of the bird that I question about gender, she's just the most friendly one out of the bunch.

and Beth......I have no clue where Hambone came from it just came out one day and it stuck.....probably just because she is a ham.
