I saw the photos of Kathy's chicks that she sent you. Cute.

Yeah, agree that he should be more beefy. It's almost like his body is at an angle.

Good luck with your coop! I am constructing a new one, also, which I am dividing into 3 pens. Need 2 more grow-out pens done (will just be tractors) and another small coop, too.

That said I got another incubator and have 6 brooders now. Hahaha.

I really need to find my camera cord now...

How big do these Chickens get? I always loved the look of the Brahmas then saw a real one! They were HUGE. Im attracted to the great egg laying ability I've been reading about with them. Is that true as well?

Standard roo gets to about 8.5 lbs and hens 6.5 lbs.
Oh, and mine lay really well too.

Frankly though, I rarely even look at the comb. I look for type, which is the body.
