Add a large overhang on the front to keep rain out of the nest box.

In addition to reading Art's ventilation thread, I also noticed you always suggesting large overhangs. So I scraped my original roof idea mid build and modified it to have decent overhangs. I've been pretty impressed so far with it keeping everything dry. Thanks.

I know it's not a coop, but it may be a run someday. This aviary is for my Coturnix quail. Its footprint is 6x8, 7ft tall in the front and 6ft in the back. I've added everything but the hardware cloth skirt (and the birds). Should be finished by the end of the week.

I turned my old barn that was already renfoiced at the bottom with chicken wire. ^.^ hope y'all enjoy it, I call it my redneck coop.

2x4s, plywood and hardware clothe were new but the rest is recycled material. Spent money on the coop tender door though and a carpenter because of recent health issues making it difficult for me to complete on my own.
