Maybe. I had one hen that routinely laid a light tan egg with dark brown freckles. Sometimes they were lighter than others, but they were there. She had an artistic paint department.

I have an EE that only occasionally lays speckled eggs. I think it just depends on the hen!

Lucy is cute & her first egg is lovely!

One of our EE girls lays blue-green eggs with white speckles. The rest all lay some version of blue.

Britney is the prettiest EE IMO, but I’m curious about her random black feather in her chest. She has a few blueish ones near her butt. I wonder what color she’ll end up being!? She’s about 16wo.

I have 2 (22 week old) EE’s. So sweet. Their eggs are still small because they have just recently started laying(hopefully their eggs will get bigger). Their eggs are the two colored ones on the top of the basket. Sweet pea is the close up picture and Belle has more blue in her.
