Somewhere down in Texas
Hi everyone. I got my first EE’s 7 weeks ago, and they are beautiful looking. I ordered 4 pullets and 1 cockerel, but I’m suspecting that 2 are cockerels and 3 are pullets. I want to see if anyone has roosters or hens that looked like them, but I also just want to see all the gorgeous roosters and hens. Any age, any color, just post a picture of your boy(s) or girl(s) and post their name, age, breed (EE or ameraucana) and their color. If you have any chick pictures of them please post them as well to show how they changed. 😊

Cockerels
First one- Falafel, 7 weeks old, unknown color, EE (bought as an Ameraucana)

Second one- Dr. Pecker, 7 weeks old, unknown color, EE (bought as an ameraucana)

Pullets
First one- Waffle, 7 weeks old, unknown color, EE (bought as an ameraucana)

Second one- Blue, 7 weeks old, blue something, EE (bought as an ameraucana)

Third one- Maple, 7 weeks old, unknown color, EE (bought as an ameraucana) has cross beak

All are from McMurray Hatchery. I bought them as ameraucanas, but I’m pretty sure they are EEs. I’m not sure how they are going to look as adults, but I’m probably only keeping one cockerel due to the amount of cockerels I received. They are all pretty docile once I pick them up, and they are very weary of me too. (Except Maple) I’m still hoping one suspected cockerel is a pullet, but I think the chances are very low. :) I’m very excited to have EEs, and can’t wait to see them fully grown.

Both of my EEs were bought from a feed store (NOT TSC) as Ameraucana.
