Not a story. My friend from the USDA told me.

They traced it back to one chicken from Mexico? Thousands of people cross the border daily and they pinpointed one rooster.

Sounds like horse crap to me. Anyhow I agree with 22 on the culling. That being said if you are anywhere near such I wouldn't be posting anything especially not on places like facebook thats a disaster within itself.

The best thing to realize is chickens don’t get colds. If they act like they have a cold. Kill them. Simple as that.

I don't know of anyone shipping birds out of Mexico to the states it's always vice versa.

What it all boils down to is common sense like 22 said if it's sick why chance it spreading and killing everything as it does and will spread. You can't blame one race or gamefowl or the like or every little thing that goes wrong with chickens or the world.

If folks want to blame someone it Probably starts with looking in the mirror and the lack of good sense.
