Show Off Your Games!

I have some questions please. I have some chickens 4 hens and 1 roo that were given to me last fall. I have narrowed it down that they are game but I don't know what kind. The girls all started laying over winter and now we have two broodies on nests with one due tomorrow and the other on March 24. Before I found out what type they were I had set some eggs in the bator and I now have babies that have hatched over the last couple of days. I set 22 eggs and now have 18 chicks. Ok, to the questions.... what kind are the parents??? And why do I have babies that are 3 different colors??? With the first 2 colors I thought maybe it was the roo/pullet difference but then we got several darker ones. All the hens are the same and as I stated only one roo.

Here are some pics to help you see what I am discribing.

Thanks in advance.

Games are sooo beutiful! I've only had OEG and seeing all of these, I'm even more tempted to get some. I know not all of the roo's are mean, I'm just a little hesitant to get some less my roo turn out too be one of those mean ones.
Are anyone here familiar with madagascar games? Ideal sells them, and I'm just surprised they do, since they seem to be such an unusual breed.

Shining feather- Those pictures are great of the Parents - and the chicks too. I'm sure some of the posters to this thread will help you with the id- That's why I referred you to this thread - LOL Either way - you have some great looking birds . And with what you've hatched in the bator and your broodies - Looks like you are going to have a big big flock of games!!! Good luck !!

There is no way to say with certainty which strain of games they are, but they are American games. You will get some variations in the chicks, don't sweat it Shiningfeather.

I've never had a game rooster attack me- But I have had several Rirs, leghorns and Dominecker roosters try to get me!! I don't think they are necessarily mean- just very spirited. These guys on here can give you great advice on keeping games and management of the roosters.
Sorry I don't know enough about the madagascar to give you any info!

Just knew no other could get to my birds to make all those different colors. Can you tell if some are roos and some are hens from the colors they are??
