Oh ok yeah what's her call-name over there, I like the Buckeyes too, my brother really likes them and hopes someday to raise a few.
Btw the rest of the birds you've posted are spot on so far, good job
and all you other guy's too I like most any game bird pics they are neat to look at and so much variety too. Cool
Jeff
Her name is Sydney, she is still pretty young and I won't let her get on forums yet to post anything. There is alot to raising strong healthy birds, especially in numbers. You have to be very dedicated. Thanks for the kind words.

Hi, I purchased a pair of Blue Splash Old English Game Fowl this weekend. I never really had much interest in anything other that Silkies. But, when I saw them, they were so beautiful. So I made room for a new addition. Please tell me what you think of them, do they meet the standards for OEG. I no nothing about them other that they are a little flighty and were hatched last spring. Any info anyone can pass along would be great.

You actually have some pretty nice splashes there. I would call them a henline bunch of birds. Your hens tails looks a little pinched but u will also see that when a bird is uncomfortable, and the hackle/saddle/wingbow on ur cockbird is a little dark, but that is a very common problem splash have, they are likely from a Blue x Blue mating. Its a pretty good start overall in oegb. Check out the old english thread.
