Show Off Your Games!

A few of the cock's offspring from last year, birds this year are too young/free ranged for me to start taking photos of them. Never gotten spangled lemon hackled birds if that is what you mean by light red spangles, but some do come with semi-pumpkin lookinh coloration due to the Shelton Roundhead blood though not easily noticable in the photo below his saddle is a definite orange, some of his breast feathers as well I believe though most are white with black spotting on him. Most come dark red colorations with spangles like the Avatar and the darker bird below which is how I tend to prefer them but color really isn't a big deal with these guys to me.

Bad photo of one pllet I raised, but one of the more spangled pullets.

Another pullet, a bit more red.

You have some wide tail feathers in these birds.

Can someone tell me why there are sometimes photos of male games wearing anklets with leashes on them? Are they flyers or escape artists or just really mean or something?

It is to keep them from fighting with each other roosters. They are, by their very nature, a scrappy breed. The problem is they fight to the death...either theirs or the others. They are wonderful birds but do not tolerate other roosters at all. They have to penned separately or corded.

Recent pic of my Jerezano
The Jerezano is gorgeous, Is this a breed of Gamefowl, a variety of American game, Spanish? Can you give some more information on them, I love them, do you have pics of the hens? Are they pure bred? Do you sell and ship eggs?
Troyer do you have a bigger pic of your avatar, is he yours, what is he??? Thanks, Lynn in Okla.

I have here a pic of what I call Red Dun color!! What do yall think? He started out Blueish, This is the same pic as in my avatar but he is going on 4 yo now, he is Half Hatch(hen and half Blue Red Toppy (roo) and his only sibling (sister) came out lemon blue, He does not have the Top Knot like the Toppy (though I suspect it is there, just dormant) Any feed back would be great!! I have him in with two Dun colored hens, one light, one darker. Lynn

I am so excited, I hatched out 4 but lost one, Chicks from this pair of Spangled Toppies I just mated up!!! Can't wait to see how the little white chicks turn out( Spangled I bet!!) Lynn
