I've got some cackle oegs coming along. Is it true that they are American Games just bred for oeg standard. I read that the blacks were Sid Taylors? Any Ideas on the others?

No one's saying anything about starving!
To tame them, I never pick them up or try to touch them! Unless they are to that point. Some of mine wouldn't eat out of your hand if you picked them up, they were so scared. Ignore them, touch and picking up needs to be conditioned from the start of life, or later, after some progression. Ignore them in the way of touching. Feed them out of hand, getting them closer to you over time, under your leg, on your lap... then you can start putting a hand on the breast while they're eating etc. It's often slow. And of course, that's just my way

Lol don't mean to argue but.......if you don't feed you're chickens for 3 days......they're starving lol.....and the only thing you will get out of that is an un healthy chicken.
